Origin: Handwoven at artisan's home in India.
Natural Fibre: Made out of 100% hand spun yarn (Authentic Organic Indian Cotton).
Description: The white scarf with dove block prints, was inspired from 16th and 17th century India, the golden era of hand block printing in India. The wooden block motifs used for printing were mostly carved in the palace areas like the courtyards and royal gardens of the emperors. These palaces always had bird-baths in these courtyards where exotic varieties of doves and pigeons were found in these gardens. The dove motif is taken from that era.
Uniqueness: Since each piece is hand woven using coarse hand spun yarn, you will notice that every piece is uniquely characterised with slight variations. This makes them even more special.
Colour: White colour with royal blue dove block print.
Size: 190 cm x 70 cm with 8cm fringes.
